Strut Spreader Bit

This bit is used to spread the clamp that is part of the knuckle that holds the front strut in on later model VW cars. The bit gets inserted into the bottom of the clamp and is then turned a quarter turn to spread the clamp. The tool is left in place during replacement of the strut. The base is 1/2" to fit into a socket or a wrench.
