Why does the PU 8021 look different to the original part?
Three different fuel filters can be installed in vehicle applications for VW and Audi: two OES filters and the
MANN-FILTER spare part PU 8021. When you look at the fuel filters, however, you realise that they are
visually very different.

How do the fuel filters differ?
The two OES filters are different sizes. MANN-FILTER spare part PU 8021 and the smaller OES filter have
very similar inner seals and end plates.
MANN-FILTER fuel filter PU 8021 is – despite the difference in size – the correct spare part for both OES
filters.

Does the smaller MANN-FILTER fuel filter affect the same performance?
As an ultra-efficient filter medium is used, the OES element will perform as effectively even with the smaller
design. This is how the MANN-FILTER fuel filter is designed. Making suitable adjustments to the seal
geometry makes it possible to integrate this into all currently available housing units.

Why are there two different smaller fuel filters?
The different seals cater for the different OE housing units on the market, ensuring a smooth installation
process.
